Since the opening of the new site we’ve been seeing a lot more of you who have problems watching the VODs and livestream. That didn’t come unexpected because where we used to post a link that opens in your favorite media player, we now have embeds. If you are one of the few who has trouble watching the streams then use our recommended software and you’ll be experiencing the optimal streaming experience in a few minutes.
Firefox. Perhaps not the world’s best browser on all aspects, but surely the one with most plugin’s, addon’s and themes. We have personally tested Chrome and Opera to watch videos on demand but both had problems streaming the match within 10 seconds, or at all. You may ask, “what about Internet Explorer?”. Well, Internet Explorer is not recommended to do anything except for download a real browser.
Windows Media Player. The newer the better. If you have the pleasure of running Windows 7 then you should be blessed with v12. Older versions of WMP however will work too. VLC Player, Winamp, QuickTime, DivX player and others might work as well. We recommend WMP because we stream in the Windows Media Audio & Video format, therefore the Windows Media Player is the only player we are 100% sure of it’s support.
Port25′s WMP plugin. The icing on the cake is the WMP plugin for Firefox. This little addition to Firefox will make all those embeds work without questions. Port25 is Microsofts’ open source community website so you can install this without worries.
